4. Enter Case Name
For this test run, I'm going to write in the name "Smith.

5. Then Click "Search"
Then click the "Search" button to retrieve cases matching the entered name.

6. Selecting a Case
Now, let's see what Unicourt has relevant to my search. I'm going to click on any record to begin pinning it with Laymans.

7. Click "Confirm"
Click the Confirm Button to share your case selection with Laymans to save it and view it.

8. Click "Save as Casefile"
Click "Save as Casefile" to begin the process of retrieving the court case record from the local docket to store as a file on Laymans.

9. About Laymans-Unicourt
The Unicourt integration allows you to retrieve court cases and store them as private casefiles to use in your cases, courses, and mass actions. We do our best to populate this casefile with a bluebook citation, direct link, the proper case title, and metadata

10. Case Tracking
You can also choose to track this case for updates, as this case updates so will the casefile itself with new materials, new documents, and new metadata -- all in realtime.

11. Extending the Court Case Casefile
Building court cases from Unicourt into your cases, briefcases, and courses as casefiles can be incredibly useful: You can use it as precedent that Laymans AI will use in its litigation. Or as the facts of your Laymans Work Product, if you set it as your primary document. You can use it to have your materials automatically keep track with ongoing litigation! Additionally, Laymans AI, Leyla, can dive deeper into Unicourt cases for you in Co-Create -- surfacing related litigation, or additional citations, as needed. Don't be afraid to dive into case law with Laymans
